The Saramonic UMIC-M2 is a 7.6-inch gooseneck omnidirectional condenser microphone with a 3.5mm locking-type output jack. It is a microphone designed for applications in Electronic News Gathering, speech, interview, or live streaming. The flexible metal tube allows it to point to any angles.

The UMIC-M2 features a 7.6′ flexible gooseneck made of lightweight and durable metal. The gooseneck can easily be positioned where you want it and it stays in that position. When mounted on a camera, the mic can be rotated in the 3.5mm mic input to capture up-close dialog from in-front of the camera or from behind it, and easily switch between them.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern captures sound equally well in every direction, providing natural-sounding audio even when the speaker’s head moves away from the mic or when the subject moves naturally. A foam windscreen is provided to protect against wind noise.
