RODECaster Video – Complete Control Over Video and Audio Production
Video Interface
The RODECaster Video offers unparalleled control with its nine mix-effect layers, allowing you to display both preview and program views simultaneously. The console features two downstream keyers for toggling overlays and logos, two chroma-keyers for swapping backgrounds, and two media players for handling MP4 videos, PNG/JPG images, or WAV audio from an inserted microSD card.
The Multiview display lets you monitor everything at once: program and preview feeds, live inputs with thumbnails for scenes and media, audio mixer status, and recording/network/storage info. The non-destructive setup ensures you can make changes live or configure saved scenes without disrupting your production flow.
Switch effortlessly between six 1080p60 video sources—four HDMI and two USB-C—and create up to seven complex scenes with multiple layers of video, media, and graphics. Save these scenes and switch between them instantly with the touch of a button. Configure the two HDMI outputs to connect displays and preview or program feeds, giving you full control over what is being streamed, recorded, or viewed.
Audio Sources
For audio excellence, the RODECaster Video is equipped with two studio-grade combo XLR-1/4″ jacks featuring low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps, ensuring crystal-clear audio capture from XLR microphones and instruments. Use the digital USB-C ports to connect RODE USB microphones, the RODECaster Pro II, or Duo Audio Production Studios. Additional USB-C ports provide multichannel audio output with mix-minus and MFi protocols.
Wireless audio integration is a breeze with internal wireless receivers, supporting RODE series IV wireless microphones such as the Wireless GO II and Wireless PRO. The console is equipped with Aphex VoxLab audio processing, offering EQ, compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, de-esser, Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, and Compellor effects per channel, as well as up to 75 dB input gain for impeccable audio quality.

Take advantage of intelligent auto-switching that seamlessly transitions between video sources based on audio inputs. Link any audio input to a video source, and the RODECaster Video will automatically switch when your talent is speaking, ensuring a natural flow to your production. Switching priorities and screen time algorithms make it feel like a pro producer is behind the scenes.
Intuitive Streaming and Recording
Stream in high quality up to 100 Mb/s directly to major platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Live via integrated Wi-Fi 6 or Ethernet. Track your signal’s health in real time through Multiview, and record directly to an external USB storage device. For post-production flexibility, record both program feeds as H.264 MP4 files and individual audio tracks as nine independent stereo WAV files.
