The SoundBird V6 can be powered via +48V phantom power supplied from an XLR-equipped camera or recorder. Given its medium sensitivity, the V6 performs optimally with external mic preamps or high-gain mixers. At 9.9″ long, the SoundBird V6 is well suited for use on a boompole or stand, and it can even be mounted on a camera shoe. The included shockmount inhibits noise from vibrations and camera/boompole handling, yielding clean audio capture.
